In early June 2022, a group of Cisco Employees will undertake a fantastic adventure. As a team, we will walk The Camino de Santiago. This initiative is aimed at providing the opportunity for Cisco employees to come together and hike the famous pilgrims’ way in north-western Spain, popularly known as "The Way of Saint James", whilst raising funds for Cancer Support Associations. The EMEAR IT Transformation team is going to walk "El Camino" in May 2022! We have planned a route covering 166km in 6 days from A Guarda in Southern Galicia on the border with Portugal to Santiago de Compostela between 18th May and 23rd May. Walking the Portuguese coastal route is our opportunity to raise money for the Spanish Cancer Association, who do excellent work in supporting cancer sufferers and their families as well as funding research into improved diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
