Per the CDC, the national annual suicide rate is over 45,000. There are 525,600 minutes in a year. That's 1 person every 11 minutes who's struggling with whether or not to stay in this world. Add in the holidays which are a stereotypical time to be surrounded by family and loved ones. Just watch any Hallmark movie right now and you may find yourself spiraling due to the unrealistic expectations of love, cheer, and positive life-changing epiphanies. Now add in the pandemic and feelings of isolation and loneliness - yes, even now. This is the launch of my campaign to #SavetheSad.
