Humane Society International
Humane Society International believes that compassion for animals is a natural human condition regardless of culture, economic circumstance, or political system. By recognizing and celebrating the bond between animals and people throughout the world, we can start to break down the barriers to animal protection and create a new global culture: a culture of compassion for all animals.

The purpose of Soi Dog Foundation USA is to provide information and education to the American public on the plight of animals in and around Thailand and the efforts of the Soi Dog Foundation to prevent and eliminate animal cruelty, provide medical care, sterilization (spay and neuter) and support the Foundation's other animal care projects. In addition to providing information and education, Soi Dog Foundation USA solicits financial donations from the American public that are forwarded to Soi Dog Foundation Thailand in support of their mission. The mission of Soi Dog Thailand is providing for, and promoting animal welfare. Soi Dog addresses the issues of overpopulation,
neglect and abuse of stray dogs and cats in Thailand, resulting in the
betterment of the lives and living conditions of both the animals and the community as a whole. The Soi Dog Foundation helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand. The Foundation's aim is to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through sterilization (spay and neuter), and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia. Soi Dog is a legally recognized charity in the United States, Thailand, Australia, France and Holland.Principal Objectives of the Soi Dog FoundationSoi Dog's primary objective is the elimination of unnecessary suffering endured by street dogs and cats in Thailand. The principal cause of which is uncontrolled breeding resulting in overpopulation. It has been proven that the only effective (and humane) method of achieving this objective
is to sterilize (spay & neuter) these dogs and cats and so prevent even
more unwanted animals being born and suffering death by starvation, injury, disease, or inhumane methods of culling. Soi Dog has to date sterilized over 35,000 dogs and cats which has resulted in a significant improvement in the condition and well being of the overall population. As part of Soi Dog's program all animals treated and/or sterilized are also vaccinated against communicable diseases particularly rabies and distemper thereby creating a better and safer living environment for both people and animals. As a result of Soi Dog's work the province of Phuket has been declared Thailand's first rabies free provinceTreating injured animals that are otherwise left suffering.Feeding animals that would otherwise die of starvation.Conducting public education programs on topics such as sterilization and animal care.Providing a shelter for animals at risk of abuse and conducting local and overseas adoption programs for rehoming animals.Supporting the national and local governments in related initiatives.

Center For Biological Diversity Inc
At the Center for Biological Diversity, we believe that the welfare of human beings is deeply linked to nature to the existence in our world of a vast diversity of wild animals and plants. Because diversity has intrinsic value, and because its loss impoverishes society, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We do so through science, law and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters and climate that species need to survive. We want those who come after us to inherit a world where the wild is still alive.
