Water is one of the essential commodities to human life and not accessible to 65% of the people in Africa.
Inadequate access to clean water has led to high prevalence of waterborne diseases within communities. This project’s implementation will significantly improve health outcomes by enhancing sanitation practices and reducing the incidence of waterborne illnesses.
This project will establish clean water wells near reliable water sources and pump the water to storage tanks strategically located above the villages. Gravity fed water will then be distributed to several key locations within the villages to be accessed by the entire community. A reliable source of water will promote better health, which is turn enables children to attend school, parents to have enough time and energy to work at home, in the garden, or at the store, allowing families to grow.
